Yesterday, we woke up to dark skies and torrential rains. Apparently, it was raining the entire night and I slept through it. To be honest, I even forgot to set my phone’s alarm and if it wasn’t for my kid’s frantic nudging, I would’ve slept even more.
But when I opened my eyes I was surprised to see complete darkness outside my window. As is the usual practice on similar days, I quickly opened the TV to check if classes were suspended.

Every Father’s Day I always get nostalgic. Every Father’s Day since 2006, I wish my Papa was still here.

A while ago I posted an article about why I won’t give up my DSLR. I thought I would expand upon this now and tell you why I love taking photographs in general. First of all, photography is a great hobby to take up if you are looking for a creative activity to pass the time. It allows you to be as individual as you want and to express your own styles and ideas, while creating something that others can appreciate and enjoy.
