For Adi’s 6th birthday, she didn’t want anything fancy. All she wanted was pizza. And she didn’t want to go to some fancy Italian restaurant for a fancy pizza dinner. She just wanted a plain all-cheese pizza and she wanted to go to S & R. You can’t get any more down home than that.
A quick call to my sister, and we had a party in progress.
And for her cake, she didn’t ask for a fondant enclosed confection….she just wanted a simple chocolate marble coffee cake….half of which she allowed us to eat. The other half she took home for her “baon.”
Next year is different ball game. She’ll be turning 7 and that calls for a real celebration. Lets just say that the party is already in the works….mostly in her head.
