Its been a week since we visited the DFA for the renewal of the kids’ passports. Since they’re minors, I had to go with them.
Everyone had been telling us that it was easy to do but we didn’t want to take our chances. We used a travel agent to help us out. All we did was fill up the necessary forms, pay, and they did the rest. They scheduled our appointment and just told us to show up at the appointed date.
Unlike the rest of the applicants who passed the main gate, those who are “agent assisted” get to pass a different gate. No lines and the wait is definitely shorter. And all for the measly sum of 500 bucks. I would gladly shell out that amount just to avoid the hassle. Especially since I had the kids with me. So why not..right.
